Parochial Church Council (PCC)
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) serves as the executive body of our parish, comprised of the vicar, churchwardens, and other elected members from the congregation. These members are chosen during the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). The PCC collaborates with the vicar to make key decisions regarding the church and to advance its mission. It is responsible for adhering to all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety, Safeguarding, and Data Protection (GDPR).
The PCC of Christ Church meets monthly to discuss and address various matters. If you have any issues or concerns you would like to raise, please say hello.
Additionally, the PCC is registered with the Charities Commission, granting us charitable status to support our activities, especially the preservation of our Grade II listed building. Christ Church Sowerby Bridge holds Charity Number 1131180.
